Nama is my graduation project in Design at São Paulo State University (Unesp/Brazil), in which I aimed to do a speculative research among the intersection of design, art and technology to create some kind of interaction that could connect deeply to a person's singularity. The resulting project
is a compositional experience that enables the synesthetic perception of movement through a custom made interface and an interactive installation. Its development was documented by two blogs (Devir and Instrument).
Aside from the interdisciplinarity requested by the conceptual research,
the project included several different technical knowledges: creative coding, physical computing, audiovisual generative design, graphic design, web design, motion design and photography. The full credits can be accessed
at the project’s official website, in which it is also able to read the full research project and download the open source files of the interactive installation together with the interface’s DIY tutorial files.
