Nave Prototype
EXPERIMENTAL MAPPING APPLICATION
PARTICIPATION:
Creation, design, development.YEAR:
2011.Online interactive application that creates emergent visual maps with
the input of data from the delicious.com, a social bookmarking website.
The project speculates about creating a “dissonant” map, a slice of chaotic reasoning, in which only the non-relations are shown: links that are only connected by their differences. This navigation intends to make the user discover and think about new connections among different subjects.

The project was created as part of a college assignment at UNESP, and
its code is open source. The creation involved not only knowledge about interface design, user experience and programming; but also the research analysis over creative thinking and conceptual mapping. Ultimately, the project was exhibited at FILE 2011 São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro editions, and is still currently used as an online tool by delicious.com users.
